3. I agree, I heard the full album on a different AOL site and couldn't believe it was as good as it is. A couple of clunkers, but a couple of classic tunes too. Mike Post Theme is awesome, and I loved the Dylan like song - Man in a Purple Dress. Looking forward to picking up the cd

I have to say That I have been a Who fan since I was 11 I loved I can see for miles, better than any Beatle tune at that time, I'm sure I don't have to tell Who fans that the Who's Can't explain also should have Blown The Beatles out of the water back then. Anyway I saw The Who at Van Andel arena in 2000. I think they're even better now! Zach can be the only one to slide into Keiths seat.

8. Seen them 3 times on the N. American leg of this tour, they still rock and Pete is still a man in constant motion. I hope when I am 61 I can still jump, windmill, birdman as well. The new music is different WHO, but really Pete's writing is as sharp as ever. It is so refreshing to hear new Pete lyrics. The new songs take on a better life onstage with Roger reworking his delivery of the songs for more punch and presence. The new album, Endless Wire, grows on you the more you listen to it. I have listened to it several times over AOL and can't wait to run to the record store next week to purchase it. For those critics, remember that Tommy was universally panned when it came out, and many people didn't like Who Are You because they sounded "different". Now both albums are considered classics. Endless Wire is certainly a better record than It's Hard and Face Dances and is probably their strongest since By Numbers.

9. I'd rate the new CD as an 8 out of 10 with 10 being perfect. The songs range is style and Pete and Roger used the best tools they have under The Who name..As for the recent live shows, I'm disappointed with the greatest hits...Where are the rarities fans were promised? JD

10. Roger's voice is a little raspy, but not bad for his age. Pate still shows why he is one of the best guitarists of all times. Even in his 60's, he is still as good or better than most. This album was a surprise for me, since I have been a devout fan since 1968. Have seen them live at least 75 times and this last tour was just as good. I miss Moonie and the Ox, but the Who spirit still remains.

12. I listened to the new Who album a few times now and I find it exceptional. If you are looking for another Quadrophenia you will not find it here. This album is not intended to recreate the past, but is intended to find a future or perhaps a present.Daltey's voice, though weathered, is still able to convey the emotional that a Townshend composition commands. MIAPD and T&T are prime examples.I enjoyed the arrangements on Tribly's piano and GSOMR. Who fans will enjoy Black Widow Eyes,It's not Enough,Mirror Door,We got a Hit, and Man in a Purple dress.I enjoyed listened to this CD. It was great to hear Daltrey's voice again. Townshend has written some quality songs on this disc and their is a lot emotion in these songs if you are open to it.The only complaint I have is that I would have loved to hear this CD if it was produced by a major label. The Who do not want to deal with that at this point in their career, but they would have been able to push them to a better polished product. I hope for future collaborations.

15. You would be surprised at all the stories about these artists almost not recording songs that became classics. In Journey, Steve and Jon had to fight with Neal to record "Open Arms". The other members of REO almost trashed "Keep on Lovin' You" when Kevin presented it to them. Aren't we glad they didn't. And I'm sure there are other examples of classics that almost didn't become classics.
